It's hard to believe that Champs is just around the corner! This year the league is coordinating the selling and distribution of the Champs T-Shirts. The League has created a site for pre-ordering .The Store will be open for orders through June 18th, and available for pick up following production and before champs (exact availability dates will depend on the actual order date). The League will have limited options available for sale at Champs.

In addition to the Champs T-Shirts the League is continuing its tradition of providing Swimmer Athlete scholarships. Please see below for the information the League has provided for this year's program

2026 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The St. Johns Summer Swim League established a scholarship program to benefit swimmers who have participated in our summer swim league for multiple years. The purpose of the program is to identify and recognize talented high school graduates and to provide aid toward their advanced education.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Currently be a member of good standing in the SJSSL
2. Participation in SJSSL for a minimum of 3 of their last 4 eligible years
3. Graduation from high school in 2026. Exceptions may apply to rising seniors that will “age out” of SJSSL eligibility after this swim season
4. Acceptance to college, community college, or career school

A representative committee of the St. Johns Summer Swim League will review applications. Award criteria will include, but not necessarily be limited to the following:

1. High school academic record
2. Contribution to your team in terms of good sportsmanship, attitude, and a positive role model for younger swimmers
3. Quality of response to application essay/questions
4. Letters of recommendation from coaches, teachers, team parents, and officials (minimum of 2)
